Services for Ella J. Dunklau Wehmeyer, 86 of Bland, Missouri who died May 10, 1994 at St. Johns Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri were Thursday, May 12 at Gottenstroeter Funeral Chapel in Owensville, Missouri. Rev. Siegfried Lehmann officiated. Burial was a Countryside Memorial Garden in Owensville, Missouri.

Ella J. Dunklau was born December 6, 1907 at Arlington to Evi and Ida Hilgenkamp Dunklau. She spent her childhood in Arlington.

She married Albert Wehmeyer in Arlington August 24, 1930. They farmed in the Arlington area for many years before moving to Bland in 1959.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Owenville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1993; a son, Merle and two brothers, Lorenz and Raymond.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Howard and Lorraine Crull of Bland; sons and daughters-in-law, Neal and Anita Wehmeyer, Omaha; Lee and Helene Wehmeyer, Nickerson and Rodney and Marie Wehmeyer of Cedar Hill, Missouri; two sisters, Meta Giesselman and Norma Wittman, both of Arlington; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
