MITCHELL P. LAW, 46

Mitchell P. Law, 46, of Blair died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 15, at First Lutheran Church in Blair, with the Rev. Stanley Reinemund officiating. Interment was at the Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.

Mitchell P. Law was born Dec. 9, 1954 in Fremont. He lived his early years in Fremont and in Beatrice, and moved to Blair when he was 18 years old.

Mr. Law was active in Special Olympics and bowling. He had been employed by McDonald’s, by Dana College in Blair, and by ENCOR.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church of Blair.

On July 16, 1988, he married Marcia Sidebottom in Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia; a father and stepmother, Merton and Janet Law of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sister, Mary Sowell of Cedar Bluffs and special friend, Bob Houser; sister and brother-in-law, Dori and T.J. LaRocca of Fremont; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Kandy Law of Scribner, and Derek and Susan Law of Council Bluffs, Iowa; grandmothers, Marie Law and Leona Harriger, both of Fremont; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Margaret and Bud Sidebottom of Blair; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon and Steve Ray of Blair, and several nieces and nephews.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
