FLOYD A. LAWRENCE, 81
Floyd A. Lawrence, 81, formerly of Blair, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998, in Billings, Mont.
Services were Wednesday, Dec. 9, in Billings.
Floyd A. Lawrence was born Jan. 13, 1917, in Brownsville.
He attended Peru State College and served two years in the Coast Guard.
He taught in a one room school at Auburn.
He married Marie Adams in August of 1969 in Billings, Mont.
He was employed with Mutual of Omaha for 30 years and retired in 1980.
The Lawrences had moved to Blair in 1975 and lived here about 10 years.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Blair and in Billings.
He enjoyed golf and bowling and was a very good fan for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team.
He is survived by his wife, Marie of Billings; three grandchildren; one stepson and his wife, Rick and Rita Adams of Billings; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Nancy and Ken Brewster of Lander, Wyo., and Andrea and Keith Noyes of Billings; three stepgrandsons and one stepgranddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret; his parents; three sisters; three brothers and a daughter, Beverly.
