SON OF ARLINGTON WOMAN IS STRICKEN

After a brief illness, George Lawson of New York City, son of Mrs. D.W. Lawson of Arlington, died Friday evening. Death was attributed to pneumonia.

Learning her brother was seriously ill, a sister, Lucy, of Arlington, left for New York by plane last week, but Mr. Lawson’s death occurred before she arrived.

Besides his mother, he is survived by four sisters, Miss Lucy Lawson and Mrs. Alvin Anderson of Arlington; Mrs. E.L. Damon of Omaha; and Miss Marie Lawson of Emmetsburg. The body was brought back to Nebraska for burial and funeral services are being held at the Drafahl Funeral Home in Fremont this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be made in Hill Crest cemetery in Omaha beside the grave of his father. The Rev. Thos. Parkin of Arlington has charge of the services.
