SERVICES FOR MABEL LAYMAN WERE HELD SATURDAY

Services for Mabel Irene Layman, age 76, were held Saturday, April 24th. Mrs. Layman died April 20th at the Blair Hospital.

Services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. Guy McClure officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Layman was born on January 11, 1900 at Phillipsburg, Missouri and had lived in Blair for many years.

Mrs. Layman is survived by two sons, four daughters and three brothers. The surviving sons are Wilbur, of Billings, Montana; Forrest of West Jefferson, Ohio.

The daughters are: Mrs. Dewey Crowden (Florence) of Mobile, Alabama; Mrs. Conrad Pendergraft (Juanita) of Lebanon, Missouri; Mrs. Glen Strom (Alberta) of Oakland, Nebraska; Mrs. Ernest Jensen (Lena) of Blair.

The surviving brothers are: George Paul and Earl Prosser of Phillipsburg, Missouri, and Hershal of Lebanon, Missouri.

Pallbearers were: Wilbur Layman, Forrest Layman, Ken Feather, Robert Pendergraft, Bill Pendergraft, and Terry Carlson.
