Rachel G. Unland, 87

Former Arlington resident Rachel G. Unland, 87, of Lincoln, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003. A private family service will be held at a later date. There is no visitation.

Rachel G. Unland was born May 27, 1915, in Omaha, and was raised in Arlington.

She was married to L. Carroll Unland. Although Mrs. Unland was retired, she most recently worked as a receptionist for Town and Country Realty. She was a member of the Folsom Children’s Zoo and the Order of the Eastern Star in Lincoln.

She is survived by her son, Lee A. Unland, of Lincoln; nieces, Mary McClellan Graves of Alexandria, Ind., and Delores McClellan Aldrich of Omaha; and a nephew, Stephen Sorensen, also of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Memorials are suggested to the Capital Humane Society or Tabitha Home Health Care Services.

Aspen Mortuary in Lincoln was in charge of arrangements.
