Lloyd G. “Bud” Utterback, 74

Lloyd G. “Bud” Utterback, 74, of Omaha, an Arlington native, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at West Center Chapel of Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak & Cutler in Omaha. Rev. Douglas L. Ferguson will officiate.

Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by Millard American Legion 374 and VFW 8334.

Lloyd G. “Bud” Utterback was born April 3, 1924, at Arlington to Elmer and Rose (Hanslip) Utterback.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.

He was a postal worker.

He was a life member of the D.A.V., member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3943 at Elkhorn and Millard American Legion Post 374.

He was survived by his wife, Elva Rose; a daughter and son-in-law, Loye and William Kenny of Olathe, Kan.; three grandchildren, Summer, Alex and Nathaniel Kenny; two brothers, Floyd and Kenneth Utterback, both of Omaha; a sister, Phyllis Cook of San Angelo, Texas; nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Eagles or American Legion.
