Alvin Hanthorne of Kennard was a Blair visitor Friday. The family had the misfortune to lose their small son, age five years, from summer flu and all the family were sick with the same malady. Mr. Hanthorne belongs to Hain post of the American Legion and some of his buddies here were assisting him to look after details of the burial.

Lloyd, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hanthorne died last Wednesday, having been ill one week. The funeral was held in Blair on Saturday and interment made in the Blair cemetery.
