Services For Paul Vahle

Funeral services for Paul Edward Vahle, 77, who died August 16, 1981, at Blair Memorial Community Hospital, will be Wednesday, August 19, at 2 p.m., at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.

Rev. Kurt Sortland will conduct the services. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Paul Edward Vahle was born October 23, 1903, in Orleans, Nebraska, to Edward and Emma Teghtman Vahle. He married Grace Hunter on May 10, 1942.

He was a World War II veteran. He was employed by the Veterans Administration and Social Security system.

He is survived by his wife, Grace, of Blair; and four sons, Edward Vahle, Beaver City, Nebraska; Robert Vahle, Los Angeles, California; John Vahle, Lincoln; Capt. Wm. Vahle, Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. Six grandchildren; two sisters, Fern Thoren, Weeping Water, Nebraska, and Edna Dahl, Fairfax, West Virginia; and two brothers, Harry Vahle and Calvin Vahle, Alma, Nebraska, also survive him.

Homer Nielsen will provide the vocal music for the services.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
