Blair Woman’s Father Dies At Schuyler

Funeral services were Friday, June 26 at First Presbyterian Church in Fremont for Frank Valish, 74, of Schuyler, who died Tuesday, June 23, 1981, at his home.

Rev. Ronald Wakeman conducted the services. Burial was in Schuyler Cemetery.

Mr. Valish, a retired farmer, was a lifetime Schuyler area resident. He was born July 30, 1906, and married Louise Reinke on September 10, 1935, in Platte County.

His survivors include his wife, one son, Bernie, of Lexington, and two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Gladys) Sedlacek, of Bruno; Mrs. Herb (Betty) Ruegge, of Blair. Six brothers, Emil, Jerry, Rudy, Leonard, all of Schuyler; Jim, of Omaha; Fred of Papillion; four sisters, Helen Savsek, Mrs. Emil (Lottie) Musil, Irene Gobler, all of Schuyler; Mrs. Floyd (Emma) Hagen, of Walla Walla, Washington; and seven grandchildren.
