Services Will Be Friday For Emerald Van Beek

Services will be held Friday, December 9, at Bendorf Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., for Emerald Van Beek who died early Wednesday, December 7, at Memorial Community Hospital, Blair. Reverend Henry Stolz, from Good Shepherd Home will officiate at the services. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Emerald Van Beek, who was 76 at the time of his death, was born in Davis City, Iowa, January 27, 1901.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret, Blair; one son, Norman Van Beek, Blair, and one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Boettger, Fremont. One sister, Mrs. Arnold Wilkerson, Kansas City, Missouri, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive him.

Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
