Harley Pegg, 83

Harley Pegg, 83, of Blair, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair. Private family services will be at a later date. Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Harley Pegg was born November 7, 1928, in Modale, Iowa, to Walter and Ada (McIntosh) Pegg. He grew up in Modale and attended country school. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954.

On September 27, 1952, he married Phyllis Jackson. They made their home and raised their children in Modale. After the couple's divorce, Mr. Pegg moved to Blair where he lived the remainder of his life.

He is survived by three daughters, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters and many friends.
