Services Thursday For Herman Wesemann

Funeral services are today, Thursday, March 11, at 2 p.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church for Herman R. Wesemann, 54, who died March 8, 1982, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Rev. Russell Saltzman is conducting the services. Burial is in the Kennard Cemetery.

Herman R. Wesemann was born July 16, 1927, in Washington County, Nebraska, to Henry and Anna Mueller Wesemann. He married Eunice Dohse in Elkhorn on September 6, 1952.

He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a welder for Blair Manufacturing.

He is survived by his wife, Eunice, of Blair; two daughters, Christine Purcell, Missouri Valley; Janet Gray, Blair; one son, Duane of Blair; and three grandchildren. Five brothers, Ludwig, Yutan; William, Silverton, Orgeon; Albert, Bennington; Henry, Kennard; and Elmer, Blair; and six sisters, Ella Rohwer, Omaha; Rose Sass, Bennington; Cecelia Gaston, LaHabra, California; Alvina Schumacher, Kennard; Anita Lauritsen, Kennard and Wanda Grebe, Bennington; also survive him.

Pallbearers are Eugene Wilkins, Hansel Vogt, Everett Holstein, Dale Robinson, Glen Price and Clarence Schakat.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
