Mildred Enger, 90

Services were Monday, January 23, at First Lutheran Church, with burial in the Blair Cemetery for Mildred Enger, age 90, of Blair, who died at Memorial Community in Blair, January 19, 1995.

Mildred M. Enger was born Augsut 11, 1904, to Rasmus and Angus Jorgensen Hendricksen, at West Admah, near Herman, Nebraska. She attended the New England School west of Herman.

She was employed at the Ben Franklin Store in Blair for 37 years, retiring in 1979. In 1989, she moved to Good Shepherd Home where she resided until her death.

She was a member of the Roayal Neighbors, Blair Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and First Lutheran Church in Blair.

On January 29, 1929, she married Alfred Enger in Sioux City, Iowa. He preceded her in death in October of 1955.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Michael Clausen and Christy Clausen; great-grandson, Eric Lang; one sister, Hazel Thiefoldt and four brothers, Roy Hendricksen, Leonard Hendricksen, Henry Hendricksen and Ira Hendricksen.

Surviving her is her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Neil Lange, Arlington, Nebraska; adopted daughter, Norma, and son-in-law, Alfred Clausen, Dixon, Missouri; seven grandchildren; 1 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been suggested to Good Shepherd Home.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
