Lela Marie West, 94, of Wisner, died Tuesday, September 14, 1999, at the Wisner Manor Nursing Home.

There will be a private service for the family.

Lela Marie West was born March 10, 1905 to Linnie and Ida (McCoy) Justice in Blair.

On March 16, 1925, she married Elmon West in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

She owned and operated a restaurant in Herman from 1927 to 1950. She lived in Herman, Whittier, Calif., Omaha and had resided at the Wisner Manor for the past three years.

She is survived by a son, Monte West of Fremont; three granddaughters, Barbara Schacht of Elkhorn, Pamela West of Omaha, and Cynthia Hosch of Fremont; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmon; three brothers and two sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
