Norma M. West, 58, of 449 E. Military Avenue, died Thursday night of cancer at the Bishop Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First Lutheran Church in Blair with the Rev. Jack Kahle, of St. Paul’s Lutheran in Millard, officiating. Burial was in the Herman Cemetery.

Mrs. West was born December 11, 1925 in Herman. She was raised in Herman where she graduated in 1942. She lived in Herman and Leshara before moving to Fremont in 1952.

She was a member and past president of Fremont Credit Women.

She married Monte L. West on November 19, 1944 at Tacoma, Washington. He survives.

Other survivors include daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Barbara) Schacht of Elkhorn, Mrs. Time (Pamela) Mohatt of Omaha and Mrs. Cynthia Hosch of Fremont; mother, Clara Kruse of Elkhorn; brothers, Wally Kruse of Bryan, Texas and Gerald Kruse of Kansas City, Missouri and six grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by the Moser Memorial Chapel.
