Warren West, 72

Warren West, 72, died June 7, 2008, in Conroe, Texas.

Services are 10:30 a.m. July 19, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair, with interment at the Herman Cemetery. Services will also be held at the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, Texas.

Warren West was born July 11, 1935, in Blair to Melvern and Blendena (Warrick) West. He graduated from Herman High School, and then spent two years serving his country in the Army.

He worked for National Gypsum in Parsons, Kan., and Faberge and ConAgra in Omaha. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Francis; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kristin and Scott Berry of Pleasant Hill, Mo., Kathrine West and fiancé, David Mansfield of Nashville, Neb,, and Kelly and Dennis Zarek of Fullerton; three stepchildren, Debbie, Chris and Mark Coley of Conroe; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack West of Grand Island.
