ARLINGTON – Martha Westerholt, 91, of Arlington died Saturday at Arbor Manor.

Mrs. Westerholt was born Jan. 23, 1892, in Westerholt, Germany, and came to the United States as a child. She has lived in Hooper, Fremont and Arlington areas.

She has been a resident of Arbor Manor for the past several months and was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Hooper and the B. B. Club.

She married Hinrich Westerholt Sept. 6, 1911. They retired from farming in 1946 and moved to Arlington in 1949.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1975.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Orville (Ida) Mintken of Fremont and Mrs. Elwood (Louise) Cordes of Anaheim, Calif.; one son, Norman Westerholt of Fremont; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper with the Rev. J. O. Baumgartner will officiate. Burial will be in the Hooper Cemetery in Hooper.

Memorials may be given to the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper.

Visitation is in progress at the Ludvigsen Mortuary.
