Margaret L. VanDeusen, 88

Funeral services for Fort Calhoun native Margaret L. VanDeusen, 88, of Omaha, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th Street, in Omaha. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the Mortuary.

Mrs. VanDeusen was born Dec. 22, 1920, in Fort Calhoun to John and Emma Autzen.

She is survived by five grandchildren and their families, Carl and Denise Zaner of Gretna, Lisa Smith of Omaha, Randall and Patricia Lackey, Russell and Kristen Lackey, and Cheryle and Dwayne Foster, all of Opelika, Ala.; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; son-in-law, Roy Lackey, also of Opelika; step-brothers, Dale and Lois Diefenbaugh of Fort Calhoun and Donald Diefenbaugh of Coo’s Bay, Ore.; step-sister, Peggy Martin of Ventura, Calif.; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
