Marjorie M. Van Horn, 83

Former Blair business owner Marjorie M. Van Horn, 83, of Vancouver, Wash., died Nov. 1, 2004, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. Funeral services were held at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, and interment was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Washington.

Marjorie Marie Van Horn was born March 25, 1921, in Alliance.

She owned a fabric store in Blair, but had lived in Vancouver for the past 25 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Jones of Vancouver, and Jeanne Kistaitis of Omaha; a son, Lloyd Hazard of Imperial; two stepsons, James Van Horn of Pasadena, Calif., and Bob Van Horn of Omaha; a brother, Pete, and a sister, Maxine, both of Nebraska; 12 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, and a son, Ronald Hazard.
