Mrs. Wm. Van Huss

Mrs. William Van Huss, daughter of the late Patrick Murray, died last Sunday, following a protracted illness. Deceased is a native of this county and has lived her entire life here.

She leaves beside her husband, a brother, Dan Murray, of Blair; two sisters, Mrs. Patrick Mackin of this county and Mrs. Whit Lewis of Hosington, Kansas.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Catholic church and interment was made in the Blair** cemetery.

Mrs. Van Huss Is Dead At Age 61

Daughter of Pioneer Couple is Buried After Wednesday Rites.

Mrs. William Van Huss, 61, native of the Blair vicinity, died Sunday noon at her home in west Blair after a long illness.

As Minnie Murray, she was born June 16, 1876, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Murray, Washington County pioneer couple.

Her husband, to whom she was married February 27, 1906, survives, as do two sisters, Mrs. Patrick Mackin of Blair and Mrs. Anna Lewis of Hoisington, Kansas, and a brother, Daniel Murray, of Blair.

The body was taken to the Bendorf Funeral Home. Services were held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, the Rev. Daniel O’Sullivan officiating at the Mass. Interment followed in Kennard cemetery.
