Services for Loretta Daniels Adkins, 93 of Fremont who died June 26, 1996 at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont were Saturday, une 29 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. Rev. Frank Lordemann officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.

Loretta Daniels Adkins was born January 21, 1903 at Howells, Nebraska to Jacob and Magdalena Kuntz Bayer. She moved from Howells to Albion, Nebraska in 1920. She then lived in South Dakota and at Arlington before moving to Fremont in 1936.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont.

She married Harry Daniels May 10, 1922. He preceded her in death March 13, 1967.

She married Thomas L. Adkins February 3, 1973. He preceded her in death October 12, 1983.

In addition to her two husbands, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Fern Hester; a brother, Wilfred Bayer and sisters, Edna Bayer, Eleanor Dirkschneider, Mabel Howarth and Lucille Hutchinson.

SHe is survived by a daughter, Jean (Mrs. Walter) Mueller of Fremont; a step-son, George Daniels of Omaha; sisters, Helen (Mrs. Leo) Hansen of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Evelyn Goodrow of Ralston, Nebraska and Marcella (Mrs. John) Stratman of Fremont; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be designated for St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
