Bruce Stratman, 36, of Kennard died at his home Saturday, Dec. 6, 1997.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Interdenominational Church in Omaha. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Mr. Stratman was born Feb. 8, 1961, in Omaha to James and Agnes (Johnson) Stratman, Sr. He graduated from Blair High School in 1979. On Sept. 24, 1982, he married Diane Taylor in Cleveland, Ohio. For the past 16 years, he was employed by Roberts Dairy.

He was a member of Son-Rise Community Church, a leader of the Little Lambs Children’s Choir; had been the leader of the Children’s Church Choir at Trinity Interdenominational Church and served on the Kennard Fire Department.

Survivors are his wife, Diane Stratman; five children, Christopher Stratman, Jennifer Stratman, Samantha Stratman, Benjamin Stratman and Stephanie Stratman; his parents, Jim and Aggie (Agnes) Stratman of Bennington; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Janece Stratman, Jr., Bennington; Mike and Pam Stratman, Valley, Nebr.; Rich and Joi Stratman, Fort Calhoun; John and Andrea Stratman, Waterloo, Nebr.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Paul Sornson, Wichita, Kans; Denise and Steve Olsen, Aurora, Ill.; and Melissa Stratman, Boulder, Colo.

Memorials may be given to the Stratman family.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
