David Uehling was born April 19, 1968 in Blair, Nebraska, to Jerry and Mary Beth Wright Uehling. He graduated from Blair High School in 1986 and later attended Universal Technical Institution in Omaha.

Surviving him are his parents, Jerry and Mary Beth Uehling, Blair; sister, Peggy Uehling, Spencer, Iowa, and grandparents, Wilmore (Boney) and Opal Uehling, Monroe, Louisiana and Carla and Mona Wright, Bastrop, Louisiana.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
