Services for 39 Year-Old Herman Lady Are Held

Lola May Vaughn, 39 years of age, passed away Monday, April 15, 1963, at her home at Herman, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the church in Herman, with the Rev. Percy Bruns officiating with interment in Herman Cemetery.

Mrs. Vaughn was born June 30, 1923 at Herman, Nebraska to Chris and the late Ida Vinderslev.

She was baptized into the Lutheran faith in infancy. She attended rural schools and Blair High school.

On December 2, 1940, she was united in marriage with Leo Vaughn of Herman. To this union was born three daughters: Bonnie, age 18; Diane, age 12; and Annette, age 4.

She is also survived by her father, Chris Vinderslev of Herman; sisters, Helen Totten and Dorothy Magill of Fremont, Inez Conoway of Sioux City, Iowa, Vivian Kraemer of Oakland, Darlene Dodge of Denver, Colo., and Lila Pedersen of Ralston; brothers, Elmer of Blair, Leonard of Chokio, Minnesota and Chris, Jr. of Omaha.

Pallbearers were Earl Hoier, Clifford West, George Green, Walter Kruse, Kenneth Freeman and Delbert Green.

Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
