ELVERIA L. LEE, 91

Herman native Elveria L. Lee, 91, of Sacramento, Calif., died Nov. 20, 2006, with her family at her bedside.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 25, at East Lawn Sierrra Hills Memorial Park in Sacramento.

Elveria L. Andersen was born June 7, 1915, along with her twin sister, Adelia, to Pete and Lydia Andersen.

She moved to California during World War II so that she could work in the Bay area shipyards along with her sister, Adelia Streeter. She moved to Sacramento.

She spent her life taking care of her only child and her grandchildren. She was a wonderful baker, loved colorful paint on the walls of her home and playing dice with her daughter and grandchildren. She also enjoyed having coffee and doughnuts with her beloved friends at the Donut Shop.

She is survived by her daughter, Ronda L. Lee; five grandchildren; four nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Lee; sister, Adelia; and brother Alvan “Bud” Andersen.
