Funeral services were Saturday, July 28 at Christ the King Church in Omaha for Mary Catherine Gaule Vernon, 67 of rural Omaha who died July 25, 1990. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

She was found dead in her home by a family member who went to check on her, according to reports from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department. An autopsy was ordered.

She is survived by a brother, John F. Gaule; a sister, Jean Curnyn; an aunt, Frances Magee, all of Omaha; nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Christ the King Educational Trust Fund or the giver’s favorite charity.
