Mrs. Van Deventer Died At Omaha Sunday, May 6th

Mildred P. Van De Venter, wife of Guy Van De Venter, died at Bergan Mercy hospital in Omaha last Sunday, May 6th. The Van De Venters, formerly of Washington County were living at Commerce City, Colorado.

Mrs. Van De Venter was born at Herman, Nebraska July 15, 1915. She was the former Mildred Davis, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Guy, and by two sons and a daughter. The sons are Gerald Van De Venter of Commerce City, Colorado and David Van De Venter of Denver, Colorado. The daughter is Mrs. Hazel Coppedge, of Denver.

The deceased has three brothers and three sisters. The brothers are Clark Davis, of Herman, Nebr., Chester Davis and Walter Davis, both of California. The sisters are Mrs. Nora Brooks, of Wyoming, Mrs. Lora Lamp and Mrs. Lillie Edwards of Omaha.

Funeral services were held in Blair Wednesday, May 9th at the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Albers conducted the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers wee James McCormick, Robert Rand, Robert Rasmussen, Jr., James Hall, Orville Van De Venter and Charles Sawyer.
