Karol J. Henricksen, 47, of Tekamah died Monday, November 19, 2012, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 26,at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. A rosary will be 6 p.m. Sunday, November 25, at St. Francis Borgia. Inurnment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Karol J. Ortmeier was born February 11, 1965, in Blair, to Harold A. and Betty J. (Stangel) Ortmeier.

She grew up in Blair and graduated from Blair High School in 1983. She attended Wayne State College for a year and then entered the workforce.

On October 11, 2008, she married Gordon Henricksen.

She loved sewing, gardening, and her dogs and other animals. Most of all, she loved her children.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon Henricksen of Tekamah; daughters, Jessica Carson of Fort Calhoun and Kaitlin Carson of Blair, son, William “Liam” Carson of Blair; grandchildren, Zeek Rempe and Logan Rempe; parents, Harold and Betty Ortmeier of Blair; sisters, Kelli Sonderup of Blair, Kris Ortmeier of Bozeman, Mont., and Kathi Ortmeier of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kent Ortmeier; and brother-in-law, Wayne Sonderup.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
