William R. Livingston, 65

William R. Livingston, 65, of Blair, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, in Blair.

Services will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

William Roy Livingston was born June 9, 1947, in Omaha to Floyd and Marie Livingston.

On July 24, 1971, he married Shirley Roberts in Papillion.

He moved from Omaha to Washington County in 1986.

He was a member of the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame with four perfect games. He was an assistant coach for Little Vikes Football in North Omaha. With his father and brothers, he began Livingston Racing in the 1960s and it continues today.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter and son-in-law, Jeana and Pete Sammon of Apple Valley, Minn.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Angie Livingston of Blair; grandchildren, Loopster, Guacamo Joe, Yo Whitie, Benny Boy and Subby and the Pirates; and great-grandchild, Lil’ Man.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Emma Claire Sammon.

Memorials may be directed to Arlington Fire and Rescue or Fort Calhoun American Legion Post 348.
