F. Warren Wheatley, 82 of Wymore, Nebr. died Thursday, April 24, 1997 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lincoln.

Services were Monday at the Wymore Presbyterian Church. Dr. Cynthia Ordway officiated. Graveside services were Monday at the Blair Cemetery with military rites by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1251.

He was a member of Anderson American Legion Post No. 25 at Wymore where he was an active member of the Color Guard. He was also a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and was a former member of the VFW Post No. 1251 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie in Blair.

Survivors are his wife, Marie; a sister, Marjorie Nelson of Fort Collins, Colo.; and by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklyn and Minnie (McGinnis) Wheatley and a brother Rev. John Wheatley.

Memorials may be given to the Wymore Presbyterian Church.

Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home, Wymore was in charge of arrangements.
