Mother of Arlington Lady Died Suddenly

Services for Jennie White, 87, of Arbor Manor Nursing Home, will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert P. Hansen officiating.

She died last night following a short illness. She was born March 26, 1880 in Helenville, Wisconsin and had lived in Fremont for 65 years. She lived in St. Edward for two or three years.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She married Willis White in Clay Center, on August 16, 1898. He died in 1954.

Survivors are three sons, Floyd White, Scribner, Arnold and Melvin, both of Fremont; four daughters, Vera Ellison, and Ethel Hahn, both of Fremont, Mrs. Harry (Irene) Echtenkamp, Arlington, Mrs. Raymond (Mildred) Echtenkamp, Elkhorn, four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Anderson, California; Mrs. Ida White, Blue Springs, Missouri; Mrs. Rose Donner and Mrs. Edna Smith, both of Omaha; two brothers, Ed Hack, Fremont and Harry Hack, Omaha; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established for the church.

Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Moser – Ludvigsen Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
