Mrs. E. E. Epperly Rites Saturday

Following an illness of six months, Mrs. Ernest E. Epperly passed away at the Blair Hospital late Wednesday afternoon at 6:30 o'clock.

As Margaret Edwards, she was born in Kennard on April 21, 1880, where she grew to womanhood. On January 27, 1901, she was married to Ernest Epperly, well-known painter and decorator of this city. Most of her life had been spent in this county.

To Mr. and Mrs. Epperly were born two daughters, Mrs. Mary Alderson and Mrs. Edith Nelson both residing in Blair. Besides these daughters and the bereaved husband, three grandchildren survive. One of these, Jack Nelson, is in the marines and is now at home on a furlough and will be present at the funeral rites which will be held Saturday at two o'clock from Campbells Mortuary, with Rev. Derelle Barber of the Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be made in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Epperly was a member of the Congregational Church and did her part faithfully and conscientiously. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge and will be greatly missed, not only by members of her church and lodge, but also by a large circle of friends.

Note: Since no death date was given, the news article date was used.
