Marlene (Woodring) White, 65

Blair native Marlene (Woodring) White, 65, of Maysville, Mo., died July 25, 2002, at a health care center in Maysville. Funeral services were Saturday, July 27, at Amity Cemetery in Amity, Mo., with the Rev. Jerry Gaiser officiating.

Verda Marlene White was born Nov. 19, 1936, in Blair to Allie “Brice” and Lois (Salmon) Woodring. She moved to Missouri with her family in 1950, and was a resident of Maysville for 45 years.

Mrs. White was a former city clerk for the City of Maysville, and also worked for the Jack Riffie Insurance Company in Maysville.

She is survived by a son, Stephen, of Maysville; a sister, Lois Maxine Rathjen of Fort Calhoun, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; her parents, Brice and Lois Woodring; two brothers, Arnold L. Woodring and Brice Woodring, Jr., and two sisters, Helen Kriens and Mildred Swingholm.

Bram Funeral Home in Maysville was in charge of arrangements.
