CALIFORNIAN, 43, BURIED AT HERMAN

Virgil L. Whitnack, of Long Beach, California, died at that place February 19th. He was a native of Herman, having been born there November 17, 1927. He was 43 years of age and had never married.

Committal services were held at the Campbell Mortuary, Friday with the Rev. Zack Kleinsasser, of Herman, conducting the service. Burial was made in the Herman Cemetery.

He is survived by five sisters and two brothers, none of whom live in this area.

Mrs. Mattie Sheets, of Tekamah, is a sister.
