Ralph Donald Beck Was Buried Here Wednesday

Ralph Donald beck, a son of Andrew Beck of this city, and a resident of Blair during his boyhood years, died Monday in an Omaha hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Navy in World War 2 and worked as a custodial engineer in Omaha.

The deceased was born June 7, 1920 at McAllen, Texas.

He is survived by three brothers, Andrew Beck, Jr., of Omaha, Lloyd Beck of Montana and Raymond Beck of Chicago. There are two sisters. They are Mrs. Doris Gutschow, of Scribner, Nebraska, and Mrs. Pearl Ludwick of Omaha.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Wednesday afternoon, February 3 with the Rev. Robert Albers in charge. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pall Bearers were Pete Gilliam, Jerry Gutschow, Ray Gutschow, James Gutschow, and George Larson.

Note: Per Blair Cemetery records, he died on Feb. 1st.
