Clemens Vig To Be Buried On Thursday

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, at First Lutheran Church for Clemens H. Vig who died April 19, 1982, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Omaha.

Dr. C. C. Madsen and Rev Kurt Sortland will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Clemens H. Vig was born August 22, 1903, in Luck, Wisconsin, to Peder S. and Karen R. Olene Olsen Vig. He attended Dana College and graduated from law school in Chicago. He practiced law in California.

He was a World War II veteran, serving from August 13, 1942-March 11, 1943. He was a member of First Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

He is survived by two brothers, Arndt Vig, Albert Lea, Minnesota; and Victor Vig, Oklahoma; and one sister, Mrs. A. H. (Ruth) Olsen, Coleville, Washington.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
