Funeral Services Held Saturday For Chris Vinderslev

Funeral services for Chris Vinderslev, 75 years of age, Herman, were held Saturday.

The services were held at the First Lutheran Church in Blair, the Rev. George Pallesen officiating with interment in the Herman Cemetery.

Mr. Vinderslev died Thursday in Denver where he was visiting.

Mr. Vinderslev was born July 5, 1890 at Fredericksdal, Julund, Denmark, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Neils Neilsen. At the age of 19 he came to the United States. November 10, 1911 he was united in marriage to Ida Christensen who died February 12, 1950. He farmed for several years in Washington County prior to retiring and moving to Herman.

He is survived by three sons, Elmer of Herman, Leonard of Chokio, Minnesota and Chris of Omaha; daughters Mrs. Robert Totten (Helen) of Fremont, Mrs. Harold Magill (Dorothy) of Fremont, Mrs. Stanley Conaway (Inez) of Bronson, Iowa, Mrs. Alvin Kreamer (Vivian) of Oakland, Mrs. Darlene Dodge of Omaha, Mrs. Roland Pedersen (Lila) of Denver, twenty-five grandchildren and seven great-grand-children.

Besides his wife, three daughters, Ione, Betty and Lola preceded him in death.
