Elmer N. Vinderslev, 79

Services for Elmer N. Vinderslev, 79 of Blair who died June 4, 1991 in Fremont will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 7 at the Herman Legion Hall. Rev. Kenneth Jensen will officiate. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Elmer N. Vinderslev was born March 4, 1912 in Kennard to Chris and Ida Christensen Vinderslev. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Church in Orum. He attended Thone School.

He worked for several years for Kelly Ryan Manufacturing and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theatre.

He was a member of the Herman American Legion, Blair veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and Blair Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters.

He is survived by a stepson, Larry Nunn and his wife, Patricia of Franklin, Indiana; three step-grandchildren, Scott, Joy and Ricky; two brothers and their wives, Chris and Marian of Friend, Nebraska and Leonard and Mabel of Chokio, Minnesota; four sisters, Lila Pedersen of Blair, Dorothy (Mrs. Harold) Magill of Blair, Darlene Dodge of Omaha and Vivian Kraemer of Smithfield, Virginia.

The family will be receiving visitors form 7-9 p.m. Thursday evening.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
