Ollie Epperson Died At Tekamah Thurs., July 15

Ollie Mae Richards Epperson was born in Decatur, Nebraska, on August 17, 1891. She died in Tekamah, Nebraska, on July 15, 1974, at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 28 days.

Her childhood and teenage years were spent on farms in and around the Decatur area. On January 26, 1919, she was married to Charles Preston Epperson. They farmed in Burt and Washington Counties all of their married life.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles, on August 18, 1958, and her oldest daughter, Norma (Mrs. Dean Anderson of Tekamah, Nebraska) on October 30, 1967. She is survived by 4 daughters: Frances (Mrs. Jack Forest of Lakewood, Calif.), Leora (Mrs. Clarence Christensen, of Herman, Nebraska), Eloise (Mrs. Gene Cameron of Big Bear Lake, Calif.) and Joyce (Mrs. Willard Korth of Pittsburgh, Pa.) and 2 sons: Arlo of Blair, Nebraska, and Dale of Omaha, Nebraska, and 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

After Charles' death, Ollie moved from the farm to Herman, Nebraska, where she lived for 15 years. She resided at the Tekamah Senior Citizen's Home from October 1973 until her death. She leaves a host of friends and neighbors that she made over the years and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
