Chester Wiese, Sr., 48

Funeral services for Chester Wiese, Sr., 48, who died at Memorial Community Hospital May 2, 1990, were held Friday, May 4 at the First Lutheran Church in Blair with Rev. J. David Nelson officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Chester Wm. Wiese, Sr. was born on February 18, 1942 at Bennington, Nebraska to Clarence and Leona Johnsen Wiese. He attended elementary school at Peaceful Hill and Rosehill and graduated from Blair High School in 1960.

On June 19, 1960 he married Leota Miller at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.

He worked for Blair Manufacturing, was an over-the-road trucker, ran his own drywall business and managed the Blair Eagles Club.

He is survived by his wife, Leota; son, Chester, Jr., Blair; daughter, Tena (Mrs. Lester) Hochstetler, Herman; parents, Clarence and Leona Wiese, Blair; one sister, Leanna (Mrs. Rollie) Metz of Blair; one nephew; six nieces and aunts and uncles.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
