Services Saturday For Delmar Wiese

Delmar Charles Wiese, a resident of Ft. Calhoun, died Wednesday, December 11th at an Omaha Hospital. He was 46 years of age, having been born at Kennard December 9, 1928. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Wiese who reside at Fort Calhoun.

He was a long-time resident of Fort Calhoun, where he was engaged in the construction business.

The deceased is survived by his wife, the former Marguerite LaChappell, his parents, and by four sons and four grandchildren.

The sons are Rudy Wiese, of Yutan, Nebraska; Jerry, of Ft. Calhoun, Delmar, Jr., of Omaha and John, of Fort Calhoun.

A brother, Robert Wiese, lives at Ft. Calhoun and a sister, Romona Gifbbs, lives at Logan, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church Saturday morning, December 14th. The Rev. Keith Sackett conducted the service. Burial was made in the German Cemetery in the south part of Washington County, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary of Blair.

Pallbearers were Roger Stueckrath, Cliff Sutherland, Leo Huff, Larry Goforth, Ed Smith and Bob Peterson.

Music was provided at the funeral by Mrs. June Stratbucker and Mrs. Shirley McNew.
