Funeral services were Saturday. August 28, at First Presbyterian Church in Missouri Valley for Ferdinand John Wiese, 78, who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair on August 26, 1982.

Ferdinand John Wiese was born February 19, 1904. He farmed in Washington County in Nebraska and in Harrison County in Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Alma; and one daughter, Maxine Henderson. Two grandchildren, Lydia and John; one sister, Mrs. Otto (Dora) Wrich, Blair; and one brother, Alfred Wiese, Kennard, also survive him.

Hennessey, Van Cleave, Hurly Funeral Home in Missouri Valley was in charge of arrangements for the services.
