Services For Hans Wiese Were Held Monday

Funeral services for Hans R. Wiese were held Monday, September 25 at the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair. Mr. Wiese passed away at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital on Friday, September 22. Rev. Joseph Myers officiated.

Hans was the son of the late Henry T. and Anna D. Wiese. He was born on October 20, 1890 at the farm near Kennard, Nebraska. He attended country school and Fremont Normal schools. He then entered the farming business about 30 years ago and then moved to Blair where he resided on Jackson street. He was employed at the Blair Feed Mill until 1969 when he moved to Park View Manor where he resided until his death.

He is survived by 3 sisters, and two brothers. They are: Mrs. Dorthea Puls of Bellevue, Nebraska; Mrs. Margaret Voss and Mrs. Rose Christiansen of Blair. Brothers are Carl and William of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Nephews who served as pallbearers included: Henry Kniep, Louie Puls, Chris Wiese, LeRoy Voss, Merle Christiansen, and Elmer Voss.
