Services for Henry Wiese, 70 of Kennard, who died at Good Shepherd Home May 17, 1991 were Monday, May 20 at Grace United Methodist Church in Kennard. Military graveside services were held at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha, with the Kennard American Legion Post #366 in charge.

Henry Weise was born on July 31, 1920 at Kennard to Rudolph and Tena Harder Wiese. He attended the Peaceful Hill School. He served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1947. He farmed in the Kennard area his entire life before his retirement.

On March 7, 1964 he married Ada Altrock in Omaha, Nebraska. She preceded him in death in April, 1990.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Kennard American Legion.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Altrock, Omaha and Dr. Richard Altrock, Cloudcroft, New Mexico; three brothers, Arthur Wiese, Kennard, Clarence Wiese, Blair and Asmus Wiese, Blair; and by one sister, Dorothy Wiese of Kennard.

Memorials may be directed to the Kennard Methodist Church, Kennard American Legion or Good Shepherd Home.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
