Services for Lorraine G. Wiese, 75, a lifelong resident of Fort Calhoun and Washington County who died July 7, 1993 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha after several months of illness, were Saturday, July 10. Rev. Gale Prentice conducted the services at the Sievers Sprick Funeral Home with interment at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Lorraine G. Wiese was born October 16, 1917 to Anna and Martin Christensen, the youngest of ten children, all of who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Benson High School, Omaha.

She married John T. Wiese October 5, 1938.

He preceded her in death October 4, 1977.

In addition to being a homemaker she was employed at Brandeis Department Store and Wilkensen Mfg. Co.

In 1968 they moved from the farm to Fort Calhoun. She had been spending her winters in Arizona with her daughter since the death of her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy L. Hanshaw, Scottsdale, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Mark Allen, David Allen, Russ Christensen, Dean Christensen, Lyle Christensen and Don Sievers.
