Harry Wiese Passed Away On Saturday

Harry A. Wiese, of Blair, passed away on Saturday, January 7th, at the age of 67 in the Blair Hospital. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 10th at the Grace United Methodist Church in Kennard. Rev. John Fritzmeier and Rev. Wayne Josephson will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. under the direction of Campbell Mortuary in the Kennard Cemetery.

Mr. Wiese was born on December 31, 1910, at Blair, Nebraska. He was married to Ruth Brown on June 3, 1942. They were engaged in farming in the Blair area until Mr. Wiese’s retirement.

Surviving Mr. Wiese are his wife, Ruth of Blair, and three children. They are Mark Wiese, Springfield, Nebraska; Michael Wiese, Pittsburg, Penn.; and Merle Wiese of Blair. There are six surviving grandchildren. There are also three brothers and one sister surviving. They are Andrew Wiese of Blair; Alfred Wiese of Kennard; Ferdinand Wiese of Missouri Valley, Iowa and Mrs. Otto Wrich of Kennard. Pallbearers are Mort Grover, Ray Therkelsen, Eggert Wulf, Lyman Perkins, Niels Christiansen and John W. Voss.
