Graveside funeral services for Florence Darlene Wilbur, 70, of Blair were held January 4, 1988, at the Blair Cemetery. Pastor Owen Wilmot officiated.

Florence died December 31, 1987, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

She was born July 23, 1917, in Glenwood, Iowa, to Walter and Lora (Scarlett) Chandler.

Florence was raised and attended schools in Tekamah and Omaha.

Her husband, Ralph Wilbur, preceded her in death.

She worked for Good Shepherd as head cook until her retirement. Florence was a member of the Blair VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include sons: Tony Mantell of Blair, Michael Jeffers of Phoenix, Arizona, and Joe Jeffers of Kearney; daughers: Norma Smart of Blair, Carried Glaser of Blair, Cindy Pina of Tauton, Massachusetts, Vickie Dawes of Providence, Rhode Island, by many grandchildren, brothers, Harry Chandler and Jack Chandler, both of Omaha, and by sisters, Doris Morris of Valley and Lora Kilgore of Council Bluffs.
