Lulu Clydena Wilbur, 97

Services for Lulu Clydena Wilbur, 97 of Nevada, Iowa, who died March 9, 1994 from complications of a broken hip at the Story County Long Term Care in Nevada were Friday, March 11 at the Nevada Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Pastor Mike Bremer officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Lulu Clydena Wilbur was born February 16, 1897 in Bingham, Iowa to William Sanborn and Viola Clydena Tidball Wilbur.

She received her nursing degree in Washington, D.C. in 1920. She had been a registered nurse at the Story County Hospital since its establishment. She retired in 1970.

She had lived in Nevada since 1946.

She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Nevada.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by one nephew, Wilbur Wright of Joplin, Missouri.

Memorial may be given to the Seventh-Day Adventist Elementary School.

Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames, Iowa was in charge of arrangements.
