Howard Wilcox, brother of Bessie Rhoades, Died in South Dakota

Mr. Howard Wilcox, age 82, suffered a stroke on Friday and died on Sunday, October 27th at a hospital in Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

Mr. Wilcox was born near Blair, but made his home in Rapid City, South Dakota, until his home was destroyed by the flood. He and his wife then moved to Belle Fourche to make their home. Mrs. Wilcox died in September of 1973.

Mr. Wilcox was an Interior Decorator most of his life, but later operated a motel in Rapid City.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Collins (JoAnn) of Belle Fourche and a son, Noel Wilcox of Rapid City, also 8 grandchildren. Mrs. Bessie Rhoades is his sister. Other survivors are another sister, Mrs. Grace Carlson, and a brother, Ray Wilcox, both of Omaha.
